On Friday 26th September 2025, Julian Knight was transferred from Port Phillip Prison to Loddon Prison.

It was government official. The Victorian Government is shutting down privately run prisons like Port Phillip Prison during 2025. Julian had to be transferred to another, government run prison. A few years ago, after 38 years incaeration he was downgraded to medium security risk rating. He is remorseful, has been rehabilitated, has an exemplary record in prison and holds two degrees since being incarcerated. He was due for parole and release back into the community 2014, but politically denied.

Recall he was an elite selection for RMC Duntroon in 1986.

But Port Phillip Prison’s private and foreign owners London based and now US owned ‘G4S’, with its staff well aware they are set to all be sacked, dobbed in Julian’s prison transfer to the media ahead of his forced transfer.

Victorian HeraldSun and The Age news networks in spiteful retribution because they know they will have no job by Christmas 2025, phoned the media months in advance. Plus they knew that the Victorian media pays for such controversial insider stories (real/fake/otherwise) so as to boost their deteriorating readership ratings. And the media grassers earn tell-tale 20% commissions in the transaction process. It’s all well known.
