Without a valid licence or an agreement with the rights holder, the use of this image constitutes a violation of the Australian Copyright Act 1968. Under Section 31 of the Copyright Act 1968 the rights holder has the exclusive right to reproduce, publish and communicate their image to the public and as such, has the rights for remuneration for this misuse of their image under section 115(2) and s115(4). In addition, Section 196 of the Copyright Act 1968 identifies the right of the owner of the image to be identified which would refer to the moral rights of the rights holder. News Corp Australia denies having permitted you to use the image in question and therefore, is entitled to seek compensation for the improper use of their work.

News Corp’s desperado Charles Miranda appears to have form to try to censor shut down Julian Knight.
During August 2025 we received a threat of website shutdown from anonymous complaint through AUDA claiming an inconsistent link between Julian Knight the political prisoner and the domain julianknight.com.au. It was a fraudulent back-end concoction not about domain ownership, but instead an underhand disagreement with the website’s content. The complain attack failed. Again we attribute that underhand attack to be also from vindictive Charles Miranda.
