Contact Mr Julian KNIGHT

Contacting Julian Knight is currently restricted due to him being incarcerated as a political prisoner of the Victorian State Government in its maximum security Port Phillip Prison in the west of Melbourne, run by the Victorian State Government prison management corporate contractor ‘G4S’ (Group 4 Securicor) which is based in the UK.

This website provides a contact means to communicate with Julian.  Constructive messages are welcome; others will be ignored.

There are four public methods for contacting Julian Knight:

1.  Email to his Media Agent

Email Address:       philipreed@julianknight.com.au

Mark all emails:      Attention:  The Knighthood

Note that Mr Knight has been denied access to a personal computer in his cell, nor does he have access to a personal email address, nor to the Internet at this time in his prison cell.

All messages are first vetted by Julian Knight’s support base, The Knighthood.  Only constructive messages are welcome and passed on to Julian Knight; others will be ignored with no reply to the sender.

CO Philip Reed, The Knighthood

2.  Postage

Anyone may write a paper letter to Julian Knight.  However, no parcels are accepted by the prison , from our experience.  G4S presume that such are default cooked with narcotics – a convenient official Victorian Prison system denial of prisoners rights to read books.

Julian Knight’s current postal address is:

Julian Knight
Port Phillip Prison
PO Box 376
LAVERTON  VIC  3028

Letter writers are cautioned that each postal letter (in and out) of Port Phillip Prison is first opened, screened, scanned and censored by G4S prison management, before the letter is deemed to be uncontaminated and suitable to be passed on to the subject prisoner or outside recipient.

Incoming letters are routinely rejected and scribed ‘Returned to Sender’, even without the envelope being opened by G4S prison management, which in our view seriously constitutes a breach of fundamental human rights.

An alternative postal address for Julian is:

Julian Knight
PO Box 468
NORTHCOTE  VIC  3070

3.  Personal Visit

Mr Knight is currently incarcerated as a Political Prisoner of the Victorian State Government in Port Phillip Prison

451 Dohertys Road, TRUGANINA VICTORIA 3029.

Check:  https://www.corrections.vic.gov.au/prisons/port-phillip-prison

Visitors must first be registered on the subject prisoner’s visitor list.  This means that the prisoner must first invite a particular visitor to meet in person well in advance through the prison ‘s administrative protocols and process.   Port Phillip Prison is a maximum security prison of course.   If invited and approved a visit, a set time window of one hour maximum is allocated.    See attached for visitation details to G4S Port Phillip Prison.

Prisoners are permitted a limited number of visits per week depending on their sentence status, contract level and IDU status.  No further visits are permitted once a prisoner has used up his quota for the week.  (Note: If the image is too slow to download and read, select ‘Reload Document‘ as we still don’t know what the technical problem is, sorry.  Note: the timings may change over time so first check above website for updates, since the below information we provide may well change over time.

All visitors to Port Phillip Prison are mandatorily subject to many security conditions when visiting this prison.

Rumour has it that there exists a secret (bayside) tunnel to PPP with a series of back doors, but one needs a set of security keys and to also know the coded knocks for each intermediate tunnel door in order to gain PPP courtyard access.   Then the problem is convincing the G4S staff that you’re legit.

2.  Phone Call?

Julian Knight does not have a personal phone in his prison cell.  Pity. He’d be well busy with media et al.

The switchboard phone number of Port Phillip Prison is (03) 9217 7200, however this is not a switchboard for prisoners and is usually not answered.   So this is not a recommended contact option.
